Welcome to St Chad's...

Welcome to St Chad's...

As a church that is part of the Church of England, we are the parish church for New Moston in the Diocese of Manchester. We believe and trust in one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit - the Trinity of God’s Love.

Our Church offers a large worship space and events centre, open to all. At the heart of all we do here, we seek to bring our community together in God’s Kingdom of love, joy and peace. We want to include and support all who may visit us, and seek to develop projects in partnership with others to further this. Please look out for our future events or ask if you would like to be involved.

We are a committed, faithful congregation… some of us are mature in years whilst still young at heart! Many of us serve and support in our local community. We hope that you may share in our worship of God and service to others in our shared journey of faith.

Crib Festivals

As part of our Christmas Celebrations we are planning to hold a Nativity/Crib festivals at both churches.

We are looking for anyone to create a nativity scene to display in church. This could take any format – either 2D artwork, or a 3D model.

This is a chance to be as creative as possible, thinking too of how you can make your scene as inclusive as possible, as we try to reflect Jesus reaching out to EVERYONE in our community.

All contributions can be at the following times at our two churches:

St Mary’s – Wednesday 4th December 1pm-3pm

St Chads - Thursday 5th December 11am - 1pm.
